EBC 5.1 Brake Fluid

DOT 5.1 high performance brake fluid is recommended for use in hydraulic brake and clutch systems of all cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles for which a non-petroleum based fluid is specified. DOT 5.1 has a significantly higher boiling point than standard DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids and is therefore well suited for modern high performance vehicles and/or vehicles equipped with ESP/ASR systems. It can be mixed with other glycol fluids of the same base, e.g. fluid types DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1.

  Typical dry boiling point – 269°C (516°F). Typical wet boiling point – 184°C (363°F)

Not suitable for use with mineral oil systems.

This product complies with and exceeds current international specifications US FMVSS No.116 DOT 5.1, DOT 4 and DOT 3, SAE J1703 and J1704, and ISO 4925 (Classes 3 and 4 and 5.1).
