APR ignition coils are designed to be a direct plug-and-play upgrade to the factory coils and provide increased power output while ensuring a stronger, more consistent spark. It is commonly believed that replacing the factory ignition coils with those taken from the higher-powered Audi R8 provides increased power output. However, testing proves that they are no more powerful than the factory coils found in other engines. APR ignition coils increase power output by up to 10% over stock. They are a direct upgrade or replacement and come with a unique red housing!
