Evolution Header Set (Titanium) must be installed in conjunction with the Slip-On Line (Titanium) S-PO/TI/15 or Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) S-PO/TI/8 system. An additional Porsche original bracket (Porsche p/n: 99111147391) is required to mount the Akrapovic exhaust system. Please read the instructions carefully before beginning installation. The Evolution Header Set converts the slip-on system into a complete system designed to deliver noticeably increased power at higher RPMs. The handcrafted titanium headers incorporate 100 cpsi sport catalytic converters and side-mounted mufflers—all designed to increase horsepower and torque—the Evolution Header Set utilizes integrated catalytic converters and exhaust valve functionality to deliver a full-throttle assault on the senses. With the valves in the open position, it provides a sportier, punchier sound, but also has the option of a lower sound level when the valves are closed, perfect for more everyday use. Offering further weight savings in the area behind the engine and rear axle, the reduction will increase handling and improve performance. When installing optional Akrapovic aftermarket link pipes with sport catalytic converters or without catalytic converters, which are designed for closed track use only, ECU remapping is mandatory. When installing Akrapovic aftermarket exhaust systems that are designed for closed track use, we recommend ECU remapping to avoid potential »check engine light« warning signals.
