Our Evolution performance exhaust system, made from our patented titanium, includes a muffler, link pipes and resonators that extend from the Original Equipment downpipes to the rear. These link pipes feature larger-than-Original pipe diameters and cast titanium flanges. The secondary catalytic converters are removed, further reducing backpressure and weight while deepening the exhaust tone and increasing horsepower. For the ultimate in weight savings, tuning potential and aggressive race sound, we offer optional stainless steel catalytic-less downpipes. For the hardcore enthusiast, select the optional Akrapovic Sound Kit for a tuneable sound. Complete the look with a set of four exquisite titanium or carbon fiber tailpipes. When installing optional Akrapovic aftermarket downpipes with sport catalytic converters or without catalytic converters, which are designed for closed-course use only, ECU remapping is required. When installing the Akrapovic aftermarket exhaust system that was developed for closed track use, we recommend remapping the ECU to avoid potential "check engine light" warning signals.
