All the knowledge and experience gained from working with various engines from the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer has been poured into this superb aftermarket exhaust system. Crafted from lightweight titanium, the system uses complex parts meticulously crafted using in-house titanium casting to deliver perfect acoustics. An instant depth prevails from the moment the engine is started and as the revs increase, as does the sensory involvement. At low revs, the exhaust emits a deep, iconic six-cylinder growl, moving through a powerful midrange, which then develops into a rich, punchy, high-frequency acoustic sensation at high revs, perfectly tuned for upshifts, providing an exhilarating experience as the higher gears are selected and thrilling, race-inspired burbles on downshifts. This sound pattern is achieved with a carefully calculated H-link between the main pipes, which is precisely welded in a selected position. The system has been developed for use on closed-course racing circuits, but there is no compromise on comfort as the system tuning eliminates any unwanted hum or flow noise. Power and torque increases of +16.6 kW (22.5 hp) and +46.8 Nm at 3,400 rpm were recorded when tested in consecutive runs on the Akrapovic dynamometer against a Porsche 911 Turbo (992) using the original Porsche sports exhaust system, with the torque curve offering perfect response at low engine speeds. The system is not EC/ECE type approved. Fitment notice: The system is designed to replace the Porsche sports exhaust system. If you wish to fit the Akrapovic exhaust system to vehicles with an original non-sports exhaust, please refer to the installation instructions or ask your official Akrapovic dealer for more information. This system also fits vehicles equipped with an Otto Particulate Filter (OPF). THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT MEET EMISSIONS COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR STREET OR HIGHWAY USE.
