Specially designed for recent DAIMLER Group (Mercedes) vehicles equipped with "BlueTEC" Diesel engines with SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction) where the use of an oil approved to Mercedes-Benz MB 229.52 standard and complying with EURO IV, EURO V and EURO VI Anti-pollution standards is required. It is also recommended for Mercedes Diesel engines equipped with Particulate Filters (FAP) and some Petrol engines requiring MB 229.51 or MB 229.31 approval. For engines requiring an MB 229.5 standard lubricant, use only an approved product such as MOTUL 8100 X-cess 5W-40 or MOTUL 8100 X-max 0W-40. Before use, always consult the maintenance manual.
