Our new Turbo Inlet System for the 245PS MQB 'EVO' cars, such as the Golf 8 GTI, is a combined package of our much larger diameter, free-flowing Turbo 90 Inlet paired with reinforced silicone turbo inlet hose for a smoother airflow much larger between the intake and the turbo.
The factory intake forces airflow through restrictive plastic 'bellows' pipe, before funneling downwards to pass through a tight and restrictive plastic turbo inlet - in other words, terrible for flow.- The Turbo RacingLine inlet system replaces this piping with a larger diameter smooth-flowing silicone hose mated to a larger diameter thin-wall free-flowing inlet elbow.
- The Turbo 90 Inlet bore has been increased massively from 62.5mm on the factory part to 76mm.
- It is the combination of the two parts of the kit that allows us to increase both the inlet and hose diameter – and thus obtain the maximum possible gains.
Simply put, without it, you are wasting a lot of the potential of your high flow intake system without installing this turbo intake system. An essential upgrade!
