For MQB platform cars using the 1.8T and 2.0T EA888 TSI engines with the IHI IS20 or IS38 turbo.
The Turbo Muffler Delete is a sleek, one-off billet design that replaces the restrictive, power-robbing OEM part with a smooth, turbulence-free air path exiting the turbo.
What does it do? The standard part is located at the turbocharger outlet and is designed simply to reduce engine bay acoustics. While it reduces the harmonic noises generated by the turbo, it also adds disruptive turbulence to the airflow exactly where you don’t want it.
By replacing the stock part with our Racingline Turbo Muffler Delete, you will replace this restrictive section with a straight, uninterrupted part. The result: improved boost response, giving you a little more room to actually hear your turbo running.
