Carbon Fiber Rear X (compatible MQB vehicles)
Want to improve the handling response of your Golf 7 and 7.5 / Leon / Octavia? Our beautiful billet and carbon rear brace reinforces the body at its weakest point for a more precise and enjoyable ride. Modern cars such as the MQB platform have a very rigid laser-welded body. At the front, the chassis is very stiff between the suspension struts, but at the rear there is much more chassis flex, which negatively affects the vehicle's handling under heavy use, especially with a stiff suspension. That's why the Golf Clubsport S gets a rear strut as standard.
- The new RacingLine Rear Body Brace solves this problem by locking the crucial critical points together.
The RacingLine bodywork rear brace uses solid billet aluminum mounts clamped to beautiful, ultra-rigid carbon fiber tie rods, dramatically stiffening the rear of the chassis.
By reinforcing and tying the rear strut towers together, the brace helps maintain proper suspension geometry under heavy cornering loads. Remove body flex and the suspension geometry can perform as it was designed to do.
Despite the additional rigidity, this improved handling performance occurs without sacrificing ride quality or introducing any additional noise, vibration or harshness into the cabin.
The clever design means installation is simple, using existing body mounting points, with no drilling or trim removal required, and is completely reversible <"font_8 bullet-arrow">
Compatible with rear seats up or down (or removed completely). Full interior can be maintained even with rear brace installation.
