The SS link pipe set has been tested and developed in conjunction with the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) system. Constructed from high-quality lightweight titanium, with flanges cast in the internal casting that perfectly fit the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) exhaust system, these pipes have been developed to create a complete Akrapovic system, offering increased performance and an exciting soundtrack. With the fusion of these two state-of-the-art products, the sound has a true racing character with a sporty and pleasant high-frequency tone, fully in keeping with the performance of the vehicle. The combination of a Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) and the SS link pipe set has been tested on the Akrapovic dynamometer, using a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 with a stock exhaust system for comparison, and the Akrapovic setup delivers a power gain of +11.6 kW @ 2,600 rpm combined with a torque increase of +43.0 Nm @ 2,600 rpm. The complete exhaust and link pipe arrangement is intended for race track use only and not for street use. This system also fits vehicles equipped with an Otto Particulate Filter (OPF). For OPF: When installing the link pipe set (titanium), ECU remapping is mandatory. Installation notice: A modification of the installation brackets made by Porsche on the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0/Boxster GTS 4.0 produced approximately after February 2020 has been identified.
