The engineers spent countless hours fine-tuning the sound too, to give you that deep Akrapovic sports sound at all revs. When installing optional aftermarket Akrapovic downpipes with sports catalytic converters or without catalytic converters, which are developed for use on closed tracks only, ECU remapping is mandatory. When installing the Akrapovic aftermarket exhaust system that was developed for closed track use, we recommend remapping the ECU to avoid potential »check engine light« warning signals.
