The precision-engineered Slip-On titanium alloy high-performance exhaust system reduces the weight of this supercar and improves handling. We extract additional power through improved gas flow dynamics and a drop in back pressure. To complement our muffler design, we added our renowned cast titanium dual-mode exhaust valves to create a virtual symphony of the large-displacement V10. If no optional Akrapovic Sound Kit for adjustable sound is used, at lower engine speeds and during cruising operation, the valves are closed and produce a deeper, crisper exhaust note. At wide open throttle, the valves open, unleashing the full fury of the engine. The driver can control the sound with the Akrapovic Sound Kit. Complete the look with a set of four exquisite carbon fiber tailpipes. When installing the Akrapovic aftermarket exhaust system that was developed for closed-course use, we recommend remapping the ECU to avoid potential »check engine light« warning signals.
