The McLaren MP4-12C performance exhaust is a high-tech system made from a special, durable and heat-resistant titanium alloy with larger pipes and unique solutions to improve torque and power at all RPMs, especially in the most used mid-range. Our uncompromising approach uses the best materials and design. Lightweight systems save weight and lower the center of gravity, also leading to better handling. A special coating ensures a state-of-the-art appearance. The 12C with the Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system sounds deeper at low RPMs and delivers a delicious racing sound as the RPMs increase. Slip-On systems contain special sound solutions to adjust the sound frequencies: each element of the system is designed for maximum sound output and offers everything necessary for pleasant cabin comfort and to make the V8 sing for true car enthusiasts at all RPMs and in all gears. On top of all this, the carbon fibre exhausts create the striking visual impression that this is no ordinary McLaren.
