Traditional patch terminals are not configured to transmit the amount of button data required for analogue learning style units and this can cause problems, especially for vehicles with many different buttons or scroll wheels. With CTSMARTLEAD, the analogue range is extended and optimised for the radio, allowing all steering wheel buttons – including steering wheels and dials – to be programmed to the functions of the user’s choice. Simply connect the smart patch cable to the interface and vehicle, enter SWC learn mode on the radio and program the steering wheel control buttons as desired.
